The Decalogue Society of Lawyers (DSL) and the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists (AAJLJ) are pleased to announce a new “Stronger Together” collaborative initiative to increase the presence and visibility of each bar association and offer each groups’ members the benefits and opportunities afforded by each of these remarkable Jewish bar associations. Under this initiative, AAJLJ, mainly an East Coast organization, gains Midwest exposure and DSL, a Chicago-based group, gains access to the East Coast, as well as to such entities as the United Nations. This initiative also gives each group’s members the ability to benefit from both organization’s networks, activities, legal lectures, and professional development programming for no additional membership fee. In these turbulent times, Jewish practitioners and their allies need to find ways to build bridges of cooperation and collaboration. This initiative is designed to do just that.
